The STIHL RT 5112 Z ride-on mower with a powerful 2-cylinder engine, large grass catcher box and wide (110 cm) cutting width, is perfectly designed for large lawns up to 6000 m². Enjoy the sprung loaded seat which is adjustable to all heights and master the controls which are close at hand: the forward/reverse drive lever at the steering wheel, the central cutting height adjustment, the blade clutch and the lever for effortless emptying of the grass catcher box.

The RT 5112 Z features a very powerful twin cylinder STIHL EVC 7000 engine for top level performance. In addition the single-pedal operation and direct steering provide a previously unattained level of comfort during driving, manoeuvring and mowing. The Grass Guide System on both sides of the mowing deck catches grass blades at the edge of the deck and guides them towards the cutting blades. The synchronised blade system provides a neat and clean cutting pattern and class leading grass collection. 

Single Pedal Drive

INCREASES DRIVING COMFORT. Manoeuvre quickly, and easily switch between forward and reverse gear using the hand lever – the STIHL-specific single-pedal drive enables comfortable and agile movement. The pressure-sensitive pedal enables precise control between standstill and maximum speed. The separate brake pedal allows the power tool to be stopped immediately at any time.

Synchronous Mowing Deck

HIGH CUTTING PERFORMANCE WITH CONSISTENT CUTTING QUALITY. Thanks to the synchronous mowing unit, you can mow large areas particularly quickly with your ride-on mower and at the same time obtain a very even and neat cutting pattern. What’s more, transport of grass clippings to the discharge chute is optimised. This is achieved through the synchronised rotational movement of the two blades, which are offset from each other by 90 degrees.

Electromagnetic Blade Clutch

FOR BLADE PROTECTION. The electromagnetic blade clutch enables you to conveniently switch the blades of your ride-on mower on and off from the driver’s seat. This means you can react flexibly, for example by raising the cutting deck when driving over rocky surfaces, to protect the blades. When driving back onto the lawn to be mowed, move the cutting deck down again, and switch the blades back on at the push of a button.
